Privacy Policy — Stoke

1. Overview

Stoke ("the App") is a daily habit tracker for iPhone. This policy explains what data the App handles and your rights over that data.

The short version: we collect nothing. Your habits never leave your device. We do not operate any servers, we cannot see your data, and the App contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks of any kind.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data using Apple's SwiftData framework, entirely on your device:

Habits — the name, icon, colour, and display order of each habit you create
Completion history — the days on which you marked each habit complete, from which your streaks and personal bests are calculated

This data is stored in a shared container on your device so that both the App and its home screen widgets can read it. It is not synced to any cloud service, not transmitted anywhere, and not accessible to us or to any third party.

3. Widgets

Stoke's home screen widgets read the same on-device data described above in order to display your habits and streaks, and to let you mark habits complete. All widget interactions happen entirely on your device.

4. In-App Purchase

Stoke offers a single one-time purchase that removes the free tier's habit limit. Payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, payment details, or any other personal information from a purchase. Purchase status is verified on-device using Apple's StoreKit framework.

5. Data Collection

The App collects no data whatsoever:

No personal information
No usage analytics
No advertising identifiers
No crash reporting
No third-party SDKs of any kind

The App's App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

6. Deleting Your Data

Deleting the App from your iPhone permanently deletes all habits and completion history. There is nothing to delete anywhere else, because your data never existed anywhere else.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not collect data from anyone, including children, and contains no third-party content, advertising, or external links beyond this policy and the support page.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes — for example if a future version adds iCloud sync — the updated policy will be published at this address with a revised date, and any new data handling will be described here before it takes effect.
